This app is an independent platform and is not affiliated with the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

  • Spiritual Data: congregation location, congregation name, and pioneer status. (Processing this data is based on your explicit consent for the purpose of matching).

  • Media: Photos and profile bios.

  • Contact Data: Email address for account verification and notifications.

  • Location Data: Your city or approximate location to show you matches nearby. We do not track your precise movements in the background.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data strictly to:

  • Create and manage your account.

  • Filter and suggest compatible matches.

  • Monitor for safety and prevent fraudulent accounts.

  • Send essential service updates.

4. Biometric Data & Identity Verification

To maintain a secure environment and eliminate “catfishing,” we utilize facial recognition technology.

  • The Process: When you verify your identity, our system analyzes the geometry of your face in your photos and live selfie to create a unique biometric template.

  • Consent: This processing is based on your explicit consent during onboarding. You can opt-out by not using the verification feature, though this may limit your access to certain community features.

  • Security & Retention: We do not store your raw biometric “map” in a readable format. It is stored as an encrypted hash. This data is used solely for authentication and is permanently deleted within 30 days of account closure.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

  • No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party advertisers or marketing firms.

  • Service Providers: We may use trusted cloud providers AWS to store data, but they do not have the right to use your data for their own purposes.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

6. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security, including:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted during transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest on our servers.

  • Access Control: Only authorized administrators can access backend data for moderation purposes.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Retention: We keep your data only as long as your account is active.

  • Your Right to Erasure: You can delete your account at any time via the app settings. Once deleted, all personal data, photos, and messages will be permanently purged from our active databases within 30 days.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our services are strictly for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover a minor has joined, the account will be deleted immediately.
